Play Ideas and Advice - Facial Expressions

Endless fun can be had with this game, the whole family can play. It's very helpful for children who find interpreting facial expressions and emotions difficult.

  • Make the faces happy, sad, sleepy, laughing, or angry.
  • Play in pairs or a small group. One person makes a face and the others guess what it is.
  • The group decides the face and the one person has to make it up
  • In a group all make the same type of face without the others seeing it – compare the results – are they all different?
  • Make a face and look in the mirror and you copy it.
  • Another person makes a face and you use the board pieces to copy it
