When it comes to toys, games and sets that excite the imagination, eeboo really are the best. This has got to be the neatest and most innovative game to date. Its a game of two halves. In a simple spinner game, each player must spin the arrow and wheel to collect a hero, a rival, a mode of transport, treasure, a magical helper, a setting, a magical object and a rival. Once all the pieces have been collected, the characters, images, items and places must be used by the winner to invent a story of their own. A really nice odea that will give children (and adults!) templates and guidelines to foster their imaginative thought. Without wanting to get too academic, what makes this game so cool is that it has clearly been based on some very progressive ideas on fairy-tales and myths- particularly the ways in which the inclusion of certain archetypes and characters can form a template to be used to make a story seem whole, vibrant, meaningful and coherent.
